Hobs Blanks
Kennametal's expertise in the metalcutting field enables us to be a leader in hob blanks manufacturing. These semi-finished goods are pre-shaped as green compacts on specialized CNC equipment, then sinter-HIP processed with special programs for maximum geometric accuracy. Grades in 'fine' as well as 'micro' grain sizes are available for longer tool life and optimal coating capabilities.
Rolls - Hot, Cold, Composites
Tungsten carbide is a proven material for many stands in the rolling mill industry. For cold rolling applications, we supply various types of rolls (Sendzimir, embossing and composite rolls). For hot rolling applications, Kennametal supplies blanks, semi-finished or finished rolls with grooves to the customer's drawings and with very short delivery terms.
